Fellowship Baptist Church

Why is it that when we get together and visit, we talk about
everything but Jesus? Even Christians, when they get together,
often fail to talk about Jesus and all that He has done for them.
It is a sad commentary on those of us who claim to be a
Christian that we would only talk about our families, our jobs,
our problems, and our favorite sports team. Rarely do we make a
habit of mentioning the precious name of Jesus in our
conversation.
How we must hurt Jesus and break His heart when we don’t tell
others all that He has done for us. If we really love Him, we
should thank Him and praise Him from hearts every day for all
He has done for us. The message that we give Jesus when we
fail to tell others of what He has done for us is that we don’t
consider Him important enough to mention.
When you are having a conversation, do you talk about Jesus
and all that He has done for you? How often do we ask others
to pray for us yet fail to share the blessings that Jesus has already
given us? We must stop hurting Jesus and breaking His heart. We
should be eager to share with our friends, family, and coworkers
of what our precious Saviour has done for us.
Heavenly Father, please have mercy on us and forgive us for not
praising Your beloved Son and telling others about all the
wonderful things He has done for us. Amen.
Psalm 105: 1 - 4
1 Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name; make known
among the nations what He has done.
2 Sing to him, sing praise to Him; tell of all His wonderful acts.
3 Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the
LORD rejoice.
4 Look to the LORD and His strength; seek his face always.
I invite you to come and worship with us as we each seek to
become faultless before a Holy, Just, and Grace-giving God.
Hope to see you Sunday!
